Uniforms The appearance of the students at our schools is of paramount importance to us as we believe that pride in appearance is fundamental to good character and success. The following is the uniform policy. Students are required to follow this policy. Failure to do so will result in administrative action against the student.
All students are required to wear straight cut, full length, khaki or navy blue pants. They may not have cargo pockets, unusual tailoring and or labels. The pants must fit correctly.
Belts must be worn at all times. They must beplain black, brown or navy and fastened securely at waist level.
Shirts must be the correct color according to grade level and bearing the school logo. The shirt must also fit correctly and be of the proper size.
GENTLEMEN: Shirts must be correctly tucked into place and be secured with the belt. LADIES may leave the shirt un-tucked.
In cooler weather, long sleeve logo shirts may be worn, or a plain long sleeve white shirt under regular logo shirt is also acceptable.
The only sweaters or jackets permitted will bear the school logo, or be plain, non- hooded in navy blue.
SHOES must be closed, solid back, brown, or tan. Matching laces must be worn, and fastened tightly at all times.
GENTLEMEN are not permitted to wear earrings, and LADIES may wear small posts, or hoops no larger than dime size.
Hair must be in natural shades. No dreadlocks, mohawks, or radical hair cuts.
Grooming of hair, nails and skin are expected.
Uniform must be clean.
Hats and other head wear are not permissible on campus.
Buttons, tags, or labels on school uniform must first meet with the approval of the administration.
1. Boys Uniform a. In addition to the above, boys may not: i. Wear earrings (real or clip-on) or have any other visible body piercing or tattoos ii. Wear any additional jewelry or clothing except as specified above. iii. Hair must be in natural shades. No dreadlocks, mohawks, or hair longer than the shirt collar. 2. Girls Uniform a. In addition to the above, girls may not: i. Wear make-up other than clear lip gloss and light powder. Make up that is found to be in students’ possession in school will be confiscated. ii. Wear dark nail polish – only light pastel colors are acceptable iii. Wear more than one (1) pair of earrings. Earrings must be plain stud type. No other visible body piercing or tattoos are allowed. iv.Hair should be maintained with clips, bobbles or soft hair bands only. Students are required to wear the proper uniform. If a student isfound out of compliance with the uniform policy, he/she will be sent tothe office and the parent/guardian will be notified. The student willnot be able to return to class until the proper attire is brought toschool. Please note for every 3 times a student is found out ofcompliance with the uniform policy, he/she will receive a referral.
