The Mater Academy, Inc. which is represented by 15 schools,
began the accreditation process about two years ago. For the past
three days, the accreditation team visited all our schools and
interviewed roughly 324 stakeholders. During our board meeting,
they presented their commendations and recommendations for
improvement. Overall, they were impressed with our high quality
schools and recommended Mater Academy, Inc. to be accredited
as a district.

Are K-8 schools better for learning than middle schools?

schools. The study attributed the gap to the students' transition from elementary to middle
schools and a larger number of students in each grade. "What we found bolsters the case for
middle-school reform," a co-author of the study said.

    April 30th.
